7.01.2009 - FAITH OF OUR FARMERS

In need of a real
attitude adjustment

Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”

—New International Version

We live in a time where our Church and our world is fading fast.
Just stop for a moment and look at what is happening every day all around you.
A large percentage of the churches in the United States are considered small.
The definition of a small church is a church that has 100 members or less.
Some of those churches will grow and some of them will fade away.
Most of us are just content to sit back and let the world go by.
We have a tendency not to want to get involved.
We don’t like change.
We have done things this way for the past 50 years, why change now?
I believe that it is time that we have a much needed attitude adjustment.
What did Paul say to the Philippians? ... “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”
Churches that are successful today and growing have taken the word, “no” and the phrase “We can’t afford to do it” out of their respective vocabulary.
They recognize each member as an equal in the Christian community.
They approach everything with a positive attitude.
Through that approach the little church begins to grow.
We can learn from this as individuals as well.
Great things will happen when we adopt a positive attitude like Pauls, where everything is possible through our God.
You’ll be amazed at the change that will take place in your life when you recognize how powerful our God really is.
All we have to do is let go and let God work through us.
Do you believe that God can do something extraordinary through you? Take the step.
Ask God to give you that attitude adjustment in your life.
You’ll not regret it.
