The United States has a 'cancer'
The United States has a “cancer.” The word sounds shocking. It is shocking.
American Heritage Dictionary defines the term cancer as “a tumor that tends to invade healthy tissue and spread to new sites.” Webster extends the definition generically to “anything bad or harmful that spreads and destroys.”
Up to now, the tumor has been benign.
It’s time for straight talk.
Pablum phrases like “Immigration is good for America”; “America was built by immigrants”; and “It is un-American to think of building walls only Communists build walls” must be analyzed.
Taking the last quote, “Only Communists build walls,” reveals nothing more than the ignorance of the person who makes the statement.
The Berlin Wall was built to keep people in. It was built to make a virtual prison for the East Berliners, forcing them to live under a brutal dictatorship as intellectual slaves.
A wall on the Mexican border would keep unwanted illegal immigrants out. More directly, a six-pack philosopher once said, “We’re up to our asses in huddled masses.”
Growing at a rapid rate, the flood of illegal immigrants across our Southern border is reaching the proportions of an invasion. Too much immigration, too quickly and without proper procedure, is not good for our country.
America’s “tumor” is already the size of a “nation” within our nation. At a reported figure of 12 million illegals since the amnesty of 1986, the total, including offspring, is estimated today to be 20 million.
This “nation” of some 20 million undocumented residents within the United States has a population larger than many Third World members of the UN.
This “nation,” for the most part, does not speak our country’s language, English. Instead, this “nation,” with the help of lots of left-wing Americans, is pushing for the United States to become bilingual.
The immigrants who built the United States wanted to be assimilated into our culture and to adopt our common language as their own. However, the United States is no longer a “melting pot” but a pressure cooker.
This “nation,” by the way, has an “army” (the real tumor), complete with flag and provocative posters that proclaim: “This is our country; we’re taking it back.”
This “nation” has selected May 1 of this year to display the power of its “army.”
Massive demonstrations, reminiscent of the Ukraine, Lebanon, Palestine, Iran, Indonesia, etc., will be held in major U.S. cities, particularly in the Southwest. Los Angeles has been promised a march of a million or more.
May 1, not so coincidentally, since 1889 happens to be Communism’s Labor Day. Celebrations in Communist countries around the world will no doubt be played up as support for illegal immigrant demonstrators in the United States.
America’s “tumor” may even turn malignant and erupt into violence. No one is checking backpacks. Does anyone recall the backpack explosion at the Olympics in Atlanta? Crowds are Al Qaueda’s favorite target.
Over the past few years, America has watched numerous massive demonstrations around the world. We have cheered for other countries as the will of the people seeking freedom has toppled governments.
The demonstrations on May 1 will be more massive than anything this country has ever witnessed. No benefit should be forthcoming to those who participate. To reward the illegal immigrants would lead to America’s democracy being reduced to mob-ocracy.
America’s “tumor” may even turn malignant and erupt into violence. After May 1, what will the world perceive the United States to be?
Will the world understand the people in the street do not represent the United States or U.S. citizens? Will they know these people are not being mistreated at all, or will they perceive America to be the oppressive nation it “pretends” to condemn?
The aid and comfort given to our enemies will be immeasurable.
The T.V. images of the massive U.S. demonstrations will be displayed continuously on Middle Eastern television, especially on the Qatar station Al-Jazeera, with the rhetoric describing the demonstrations as being protests against U.S. participation in the Iraq war, thus giving al-Qaida a major propaganda advantage.
The decent image of America may be tarnished for all time.
Illegal immigration of invasion proportions cannot continue if the United States is to survive. The illegal immigrants lack the ability to conquer America, but they do have the capacity to destroy America.
A clear and present danger to the health, welfare and safety of the citizens of the United States exists today.
A national emergency is upon us.
This condition demands immediate action on the part of the U.S. Congress and the President.
