Lindsay Dodd
Washington College

Lindsay Dodd, of Queenstown, Md.,  knows she wants to protect and preserve agriculture for future generations.  She’s already an avid supporter of agriculture and the former Miss Queen Anne’s County Farm Bureau.
“I feel that I can be a role model,” she said.
Dodd grew up on a grain farm.  There, she learned teamwork, discipline and the value of hard work.
The Delmarva Farmer chose to sponsor her because she is a budding leader and public advocate for the agriculture industry.
“I think a good leader is somebody who not only talks but acts,” she said.
Dodd attends Washington College with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Law, Justice and Society.
She hopes to attend law school and ultimately become a legislator or a lobbyist for organizations like the Farm Bureau or a land conservancy.
“A lot of people just don’t know.  I want to bring my knowledge and experience to the political arena – I want people to know that farmers do as much as they can to help our country and environment.”
