PPC works to improve site, has presence on Facebook

CLAYTON — The New Jersey Peach Promotion Council has just updated its website to be more informative and user friendly. 
The PPC, which can be visited at  www.jerseypeaches.com, has also put itself on facebook.com — by searching for “jersey peaches.”
Friends and fans can now get timely info on where Jersey-grown peaches can be found. 
Peaches are expected to be available through late September this year.
On the website, find a downloadable peach recipe book, calendar of “Peach Parties” and other events at farmers markets, restaurants and supermarkets throughout New Jersey; hints on buying, storing, handling; listings of peach growers who sell direct to consumers and nutrition information.
To make it easy for grocery stores to designate “Jersey Fresh Peaches,” the new website also contains two different price cards that can be downloaded and printed in whatever size needed. 
The site also includes names of all the PPC growers and shippers.
